Gold Canyon, Arizona is an unincorporated community located 45 minutes east of the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport off Rte. 60 East, beyond Apache Junction at the foot of the beautiful Superstition Mountains.  The community is made up of year-round residents as well as seasonal "snow-birds" - visitors who come to the Gold Canyon area to escape the snow and cold of their full-time homes.
